How to make an emergency call
- Dial the number. Calls to 110 and 119 are free.
- Say your location (address or a nearby landmark) first.
- Say what happened: “kaji” (fire), “kyukyu” (ambulance), or describe in English.
- If you need English, say “English, please.” Stay on the line.
